She added that during the first round, she simply tried to relax. The coach kept reminding her not to lose concentration in order to stay focus.
Her victory over Michelle practically makes her the first Indonesian women's singles athlete to qualify for the second round at BIO 2015. Beside Lindaweni, Adrianti Firdasari, Ruselli Hartawan and Maria Febe Kusumastuti are still fighting their way to the second round.
When being asked about target, Lindaweni was reluctant to comment. She just wants to get through every round the best she can to win. It is because the next round will be tougher.
“This is the fifth times I perform at Indonesia Open. My best achievemt is qualified for the second round. This time I want to exceed the achievement," she stated.
Lindaweni will take on the fourth seeded Tai Tzu Ying. They once met at Taipei Open 2012 where Tai Tzu Ying emerged a winner, 19-21, 22-20, 20-22.
Tai Tzu Ying herself goes to the second round after stunning Porntip Buranaprasertsuk from Thailand. She won 21-15, 19-21 and 21-12 and secured a ticket.
Lindaweni has no particular preparation to Tai Tzu Ying. Instead, she just wants to stay fit and keep on maintaining focus for the match.
