Jakarta, - Despite of playing in fornt of their thousands of fans, the Indonesian Women’s Doubles pair, Greysia Polii/Nitya Krishinda, still haven’t been able to deliver the fans a title at the Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2015 which is also their first final, Sunday (7/6). They were ousted by the China’s superior pair, Tian Qing/Tan Jin Hua in a two game match.

Although apparently giving optimism and making the crowd roar at the stadium in the first game until 11-10 interval, out of the blue, the Asian games 2014 gold medallist pair were stuck at the 11-10, and to make things worse, their opponent managed to take over the lead and grab a win, 11-21.

"At some point in the first game, we led by our strategy until it reached the interval. But we were stuck at 11 because we kepr receiving heavy pressure from the opponent and it was difficult to turn the table as we did in the beginning of the match,” said Nitya.

The second game, Greysia/Nitya were becoming more powerless to handle the China’s double. When the second game was just begun, Greysia/Nitya were losing points badly 0-6 from Tian/Tan before finally were completely crushed by Tian/Tan with convincing 21-10.

"We realised the China’s pair had been very well prepared for this match judging from their pace and powerful shots, especially in the second game. Moreover, they were more confident after previously winning an easy set," Greysia added.

Greysia/Nitya's defeat in the match is the second time received by Tian/Tan, perviously Greysia/Nitya also were defeated at the Australia Open Super Series 2015, 21-18 and 21-16.

"We are grateful for whatever the result this time, each match that we played since the beginning of this tournament, we did it all out. We will do our best in the future," said Greysia.
