Ihsan started to play badminton when he was a third grader. "There used to be badminton videos sold. The first one I watched was Taufik's performance. I immediately fell in love with badminton," Ihsan said.

Ever since, he was trained by his father. Susi Susanti Sports Centre located not far from his house in Tasikmalaya is a witness of his early international badminton career.

Thus the Susi Susanti Sports Centre is Ihsan's historical milestone.

"I practiced with my dad since I was a kid. I met great coaches when I was in Jakarta. I joined PB Djarum 2010," said Ihsan responding to his fans questions at a meet and greet at PB Djarum booth, Senayan.

When asked what supporters mean to him, Ihsan said supporters are one of his precious things. He can't be where he is now without supporters.

As all athletes, his current target is to be the world champion and the Olypmic's representing Indonesia. "All in all, I want to be champions in every world level tournament," he ended.
