"I am very happy to win this tournament which is also coinciding with Father's Day in my country. This title is also dedicated to my Dad. And hopefully my dad doesn’t have to work too hard no more," said Jia.

This is Jia's first Premier Superseries title she achieves this year together with Chen. They are entitled to receive USD 79,000. Jia said she would give some of the money to his father.

"I will surely give it to my father some, not all of course," Jia laughed.

Meanwhile, Chen also stated she would still focus on the mixed doubles final match.

Chen/Jia successfully won the title after they defeated Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee from Korea with 21-19, 15-21 and 21-10.
