Maria Selena: Athlete Must Be Smart

JAKARTA - Being an athlete doesn't mean they can skip formal education. Maria Selena said to all athletes that they have to be successful not only on the courts but also in education.

Maria Selena is a celebrity who is fond of sports. Besides basketball, badminton is one of her favorite sports.

"Besides the skills athletes must have, they must also posses good knowledge. Studying and seeking knowledge are a brighter must for future," said Maria Selena.

When met in the middle of Meet and Greet event at the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier (BIOSSP) 2016, Selena hoped Indonesia could keep on achieving success in the future. Although it is very unfortunate Indonesia failed to send players in final, Maria Selena expected this is the last.
